Course B. Refresher course
For those of you who’ve had a bit of a go before and want to get back into casting.
Course B is for those of you who have tried fly fishing or fly casting before, but would like a refresher.
We’ll go through the fly-fishing tackle and look at the casts that are most practical for successful fishing. The aim is to refine your technique, rediscover your rhythm and make casting easier.
The course is suitable for both single-handed and double-handed rods.
We’ll work on basic casting techniques, practical casting for fishing, line control, timing, rhythm and the correct use of power.
Some of you have fished a little but feel your casting isn’t quite right. Others have taken a break and want to get back into it before the season starts. Here, we’ll build on what you already know and adjust from there.
